2) Gonzalez also writes, "In fandango the tarima is a space where the 'collective consciousness' of women gathers in the presence of community" (p. 78). As Avendanos notes, tarima is mainly preformed by women. How is this space a form of "collective consciousness"?

3) Chocolate by Maya Jupiter is a song about the cocoa trade from the perspective of a child who works in the cocoa field. How do you think this song brings awareness to child slave labor in the cocoa trade?
