My ofrenda is titled, "Resilience of Traditional Medicine" and honors the women who maintain long-held traditional medicinal practices and serve their communities. The azaleas represent femininity and protecting the home, the seeds represent resilience and endurance, while the balm represents traditional medicine and the hot-cold theory.
