Undocuqueer artivistas, utilize social media to intersect art and activism. Their art and unapologetic existence serve the idea of Chicanxfuturism, in that they resist erasure by owning their identities and political status as undocumented and queer. these intersections of marginalization, along with their abilities to heal and challenge systems in place, work to imagine a future in which immigration is not criminalized, and in which sexuality is not demonized as deviant. Their art and existence is human and paves the way for others to both experience healing and to imagine a future in which undocuqueer lives are valued as they should be. 

Social death is resisted in the demand for justice and the embodied acceptance of themselves as human and worthy.

It is absolutely resistance to dare to exist, to heal, and to create in a U.S sociopolitical context that has deemed undocuqueer people less worthy of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." Existing is resilience. thriving is resilience. Speaking out, is resilience. Trying to help others do the same... is resilience.
