Brainstorm Week 8 -Linda Barragan

The Ecuadorian Constitution grants ecosystems to have the right to be maintained to sustain vital cycles. We must work together to be able to maintain these vital ecosystems. Chicxnx futurism is present in the constitution because it is something that was not thought of before. We are trying to protect something that greatly affects our futures as humans. The way the environment has been treated by society compares to how women have been treated. Women and the environment have been disregarded and are expected to endure what is thrown at them with no repercussions. As there have been activist groups for women's rights, there have also been groups for the environment that have gone together to claim the rights of one another. These groups fight together and resemble each other's goals and they also come together to give even more fight for each other.
