2. Gonzalez states that “the most intimate moments of creativity in the collective songwriting process brought about discussions pertaining to participants’ experiences as women” (79). In what ways do you think teamwork and collective experiences inspired this work and made it meaningful to others?3. The chorus in the Entre Mujeres song Chocolate says, “Suffering a land full of pain and anguish, in a land where we can’t speak the language” (2:14). How does the sentiment of this song relate to the resilience practices needed during the Coronavirus (particularly with farm workers being considered essential workers)?
4. In the video, Community Stories, Yesenia describes how her daughter found a community within those participating in fandango and this helped her define who she was. How has living in the United States and Chicano culture influenced fandangos and the impact it has on people?
