Live Blog 1 - Albert Lam

This was an altar titled LA for War by Ofelia Esparza, which was a message of peace. I thought it was very relevant to the current situations due to all the unrest and chaos in different areas of the world. I found it very impactful that there were little positive notes of peace from passerby's - this act really exhibited the concept of convivencia in that it allows for a space for people to come together, participate in something bigger than the individual, and experience simply being present for a cause and in a group. Amidst the chaos of current events, I hope the diversity of art and culture can continue to help bring peace and unity.
