Unfortunately, in the middle of the zoom meeting, I lost connection and was kicked out of the meeting. I tried to get back in but was left with the message seen in the picture above. Nonetheless, I was able to catch some of Ofelia Esperaza’s words that resonated with me. She says that education starts at home and that is very true. The reason some people are so filled with racism and do not see anything wrong is because it all started at home. Many people grow up listening to their parents and the people around them, therefore causing them to think that their opinions are okay. Everything starts at home, from education to growth, that is where it all starts. I agree with Ofelia.
