Live Blog #2 - Olivia Brunner-Gaydos

I have been enjoying Ofelia and Rosanna discussing the variety of altars they have made all over the place. They also mentioned they were asked to come in and consult their altars and even asked them to make one. I never considered that the producers of such a movie would have to consult on something like that but the more I hear about the spiritual meaning and healing that altars are the more I am understanding the correct portrayal of them. I do love the variety of altars and how they can almost be anything you to represent anything you want. Ofelia and Rosanna also discussed a huge altar they made in LA that incorporates ideas from all the neighborhoods of the city and involves all the people living there. It is inspiring to see these women bring so many people, beliefs, and ideas into one altar.
