This altar is so beautiful. I had to write about it because it literally looks like it's in the middle of a forrest. It's my favorite one that I've seen so far, I love how she's able to incorporate flowers, rocks, and fake trees to create an atmosphere that invokes a sense of being in nature and an extra sense of spirituality. It kind of has a rustic look, like it's out of the past, which is a nice contrast from many of the others that are more modern looking.


This photo below is the altar in honor of the women of Juarez. Ofelia included 300 elements for all the women. It's such a grand and colorful altar, which I think creates a good image to honor these women and their lives. Ofelia said that she wanted to create this altar to show the love for these women in their lives and I think all the colors, flowers, and candles serve to do this.
