1. When addressing negative and often political representations of the undocumented and immigrant community. Why does self-determination/ self-representation play such an important role in activism? Further, how do these representations serve to humanize people whose existence have been criminalized?
2. Have you experienced any negative representations of a community you belong to? If so has this increased the necessity of self-determination for you?
3. When looking at using social media to "challenge oppresive conditions," are there any social media movements around immigration and undocumented communities that you have witnessed or been apart of? Can you think of specific instances of social or political change that have occurred as a result?? of
