Why is it important to look at how different cultures deal with the same issues? What do you gain from having different perspectives?

2. “Although change is evident, disparagement of the Indegenous has not ceased to occur; rather, it has assumed a new face” (Pg. 94, “What Does it Mean to be an Indigenous Women”). What is the “new face” Isabel Dulfano is referring to? Can it be overcome?

3. In the Refinery 29 “These Women are Saving the Amazon”, a woman talks about how oil companies strengthened the idea of machismo (2:03 – 2:22). In a way, it is allowing two “evils” become one; similarly, women and nature complement each other in this battle. What benefits does the union of nature provide women?
